From our experience: The quick setup of a house or apartment with a KNX system is unrivaled compared to other “small” KNX servers. To achieve this, Gira has continuously refined and expanded the GPA software (GPA Project Assistant) in recent years.

Would you like to dim the light to a certain brightness, call up a light scene such as “Dinner” or “Guests” and never have to search for the light button in the dark again? Or lower the blinds in the bathroom before you get in the shower?

In combination with the Gira S1, the Gira X1 enables voice control in conjunction with Amazon Alexa. This allows you to control light settings, blinds or scenes simply using voice commands.

The Gira X1 Server was launched on the market in 2016. Since then, it has not changed visually from the outside. “Under the hood”, Gira has made some hardware adjustments over the years that have no impact on day-to-day operation. This means that you can easily buy a Gira X1 Server from 2016 as well as the current one from 2023.
