But first the question: Why does Basalte need a new KNX server now, when the &#8220;predecessor&#8221; Basalte Core S4 has only been on the market since 2018? <\/p>\n<h3><strong>Successor: Basalte Core S4 is followed by Basalte Core Plus<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The answer is clear: problems with chip suppliers have resulted in the Basalte headquarters in Merelbeke (Belgium) opting for a new circuit board layout.
